Former Red Hook High School graduate, Ryan Hooper, was recently named the assistant to the Athletic Director at SUNY New Paltz according to a press release from the college.
Hooper was a standout baseball and basketball player during his years at Red Hook and later went on to star on the diamond for SUNY Cortland.
After graduating from Cortland in 2008, Hooper was a sports information assistant at Bard College and an intern for the Skyline Athletic Conference.
