Red Hook majors tournament team suffers first loss to Wappinger American (2010-07-05)

A big first inning propelled Wappinger American to a lopsided 14-0 victory over the Red Hook Majors all-stars in a winner's bracket game played at Father Carroll Field on Monday evening.

The only thing hotter than the sweltering temperatures were the Wappinger American bats as hit after hit seemed to find a patch of grass in the first inning.

Cameron Zduniak led the Red Hook offensive attack with a single and a stolen base. Danny Corless also hammered a basehit with Patrick Troy collecting the other hit for Red Hook.
