Pleasant Valley rallied for four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and then held off host Red Hook to earn a 7-5 victory in District 17 softball action at the Red Hook Recreation Park.
Ariana Padilla-Carreras led Red Hook's offense with a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate. Jordan Ball smacked an RBI double in the setback for the locals.
Ally Jerro-Greco was the tough luck loser as some fielding errors in the sixth inning led to the go-ahead runs.
