Red Hook fell behind early and could never recover in dropping a 19-8 contest to LaGrange in District 17 softball action played at LaGrange on Monday afternoon.
LaGrange pitcher Meagan Flynn mowed down Red Hook's batter early in the contest and by the locals got untracked, they were in a big hole.
Ally Jerro-Greco swatted a long homerun and added a single to pace the Red Hook offense. Jessica Osterhoudt pitched well in defeat for Red Hook.
