Kevin Cayea erupted for a game-high 22 points as Enigma outlasted Double V Landscaping 69-58 in recent Red Hook Mens Basketball League Upper Division contest at the Red Hook Recreation Park. Tommy Howard netted 12 points for the winners with teammate Austin Carrothers adding 10 points for Enigma. Mike Powel tallied 15 points to lead Double V with Dennis Howell adding a dozen points in the loss.Matt Parr Insurance slipped past Stone Ridge Tavern 64-58 thanks to 17 points from Sean Coffey and 14 from Jacob Palmer. Dylan Capriotti poured in a game-high 21 points for the tavern with Lance Briggs adding 12.
Enigma had little trouble with the Pretenders as they rolled to a 63-43 victory. Aaron Mickler led the offense with 17 points with Austin Carrothers adding 13 and Gedney Mosher 10 markers.John Black canned 16 for the Pretenders.
In Lower Division play, Paddy Parr lit up the scoreboard for 22 points as Matt Parr Insurance edged the saints 54-50. Justin Cooper chipped in with 10 points for the winners. Kevin Hourihan had 20 points in a losing effort for the Saints.
Bill Dedrick and John O'Leary each bucketed 15 points, Alan Monarchi tallied 14 and Kevin Moul chipped in with 10 as BFAS hammered Integral Tree Service by a score of 60-38.
