The Raiders boys lacrosse team built a big 9-1 in the first half of play and then coasted to an easy 15-5 victory over New Paltz in an Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association game played at Red Hook on Monday afternoon.
Pat Meyer, Zack Gilman, Dave Marchessault and Zach Charter all notched two goals each for the Raiders. Dylan O’Neil, Mike Ross, Tong Guerra, Taylor Lee, Onam Guerra, Joe Martin and Sean Dorrian also racked up scores for the winners.
Pat Meyer assisted on four goals with Dylan O’Neil, Mike Ross, Taylor Lee, Onam Guerra and Chandler Coons also setting up teammates for scores with assists of their own.
Goalies Kyle Wright and Austin Loeffel along with the Raiders defense stymied the Huguenots offense all afternoon. Wright and Loeffel each recorded four saves on the afternoon.
