The Red Hook boys lacrosse squad thoroughly dominated New Paltz for the second time in a week with a 14-5 victory on Thursday afternoon in Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association contest played at New Paltz. Red Hook led 11-1 after the first half and coasted to the victory.
Pat Meyer, Tong Guerra and Ryan Pierce all netted two goals for the Raiders. Onam Guerra, Dylan O’Neil, Mike Ross, Andrew Richmond , Dave Marchessault, Colin Waterhouse, Taylor Lee,and Chandler Coons also notched goals for the winners.
Onam Guerra racked up three assist on the afternoon with teammates Pat Meyer, Chandler Coons,and Zach Charter also adding assists.
Red Hook's defense and the play of goalies Austin Loeffel and Kyle Wright helped frustrate the Huguenots offense. Loeffel turned away seven shots with Wright making a pair of saves in the victory.
