Eighth-grader Carol Tyson capped off a breakout season by earning all-MHAL honors recently.
Tyson was one of the Mid-Hudson Athletic League's bright young stars, ripping through most of her competition at third singles all year long. Dax Lamar of Spackenkill also was a first team selection at third singles.
MHAL champion Jonah Berkowitz of Roosevelt took home top honors at first singles.
No other local player earned first team honors.
